Niroze is a partner in the firm’s litigation practice. He is a dual qualified lawyer in Singapore and Sri-Lanka.
He has a pragmatic and commercial approach to his work. Niroze’s litigation practice covers commercial disputes, divorce, probate, employment law and criminal defence litigation. He has represented both corporate and individual clients.
Niroze complements his litigation practice with transactional work. He has acted for parties in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business transfers and shareholder agreements.
Niroze is also a Muslim law practitioner. His work covers Muslim divorce, inheritance (faraidh) and trusts (wakaf).
In Sri-Lanka, Niroze was a state counsel at the Attorney General’s Department where he worked primarily on judicial review applications.
Niroze is a regular guest speaker at seminars and conferences. He has spoken on legal aspects of investing in Sri-Lanka, Muslim law of inheritance and corporate compliance issues.
