Visited IRB Law with a friend today to get her foreign passport certified true copy (CTC) for the Part B bar application. We were attended to by a locum lawyer, Mr. Cheah, who is not a lawyer from IRB Law. Unfortunately, the interaction left both of us feeling uncomfortable. Mr. Cheah's manner of speaking came across as condescending and unnecessarily harsh. He repeatedly questioned the authenticity of my friend’s identification documents in a tone that suggested distrust, even warning that if they were not genuine, her application could be revoked and he would bear no responsibility. While such diligence may be part of the process, the way it was communicated was disrespectful and accusatory. What was more concerning was his comment referencing her nationality — implying that people from her country had previously asked him to do unethical things, even going as far as to “create laws that do not exist.” This generalisation was inappropriate and uncalled for. He shared that he has practiced law for over 35 years and emphasized the importance of ethics in the legal profession — a point we wholeheartedly agree with. However, professionalism and ethical conduct must also extend to how clients are treated, regardless of what they came for. Respect, empathy, and clear, non-discriminatory communication are just as essential. It’s unfortunate that after such a long career, people still fall short in this regard. Based on this experience, I would not recommend engaging his services. Giving a 3 star rating as we got what we came and paid for - a certified true copy of the passport.

I had a great experience with IRB Law LLP from the beginning of the process. Everything was handled professionally, with kindness and empathy. My lawyers, Mr. Dzuleqhmal and Mr. Aidil, were amazing throughout. They always reassured me and were able to calm my nerves during every court session. They responded promptly to all my doubts from the very beginning. The legal managers and paralegals: Mr. Muhammad Fadil, Ms. Fartin, and Mr. Ahmad Ghazi—made the paperwork process smooth. Communication was excellent throughout, and they ensured everything was worded exactly how I wanted it in the affidavit. I am very grateful for their time, effort, and the empathy they provided.

IRB lawyers are well versed in syariah law as they practice it everyday. They can craft affidavits with very little detail but if its too complex, they will ask you for important and valuable ones to include in the AIR. As long as you have evidences to support you case, you can leave the rest to them. In short, Trustworthy and dependable.

I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional service provided by Miss Kulvinder Kaur and her team at I.R.B. Law LLP. After a previous law firm failed to handle our relocation case to the USA, we turned to I.R.B. Law LLP, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we engaged with Miss Kulvinder and her team, they demonstrated a deep understanding of the complexities involved in our case. They meticulously reviewed all the evidence and past affidavits, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our relocation appeal. Their ability to craft compelling affidavits and their strategic approach was crucial in overcoming the significant challenges we faced. Miss Kulvinder and her team went above and beyond, working late nights to communicate with us and keep us informed at every step of the process. Their commitment to ensuring that we understood the next steps and what was happening during the court hearings was invaluable. Despite the obstacles, including false accusations from my ex-spouse and the difficulty of securing permission to relocate with my daughters, Miss Kulvinder's expertise and dedication played a pivotal role in winning our appeal. She and her team fought tirelessly for us, and thanks to their hard work, we are now able to start a new chapter in the USA. I wholeheartedly recommend Miss Kulvinder Kaur and I.R.B. Law LLP for their outstanding legal support and unwavering commitment. They truly made a difference in our lives.
