Victoria graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Her practice focuses on community law, such as family proceedings, criminal defence and probate matters. She also advises on personal and corporate insolvency, debt recovery and civil litigation.

Victoria is also an accredited mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI), allowing her to approach each matter from both a practical and creative angle. She strives to provide every client with holistic advice suiting their needs and best interests so as to fulfil both their short-term and long-term goals.

Victoria is proficient in English and Mandarin.

Work Highlights

  • Assisted in an appeal on sentence to the High Court. The accused person pleaded guilty to 2 charges under the Misuse of Drugs Act for trafficking ketamine and methamphetamine. At the State Courts, the District Judge, in agreeing with the Prosecution, sentenced the accused person to 9 years’ imprisonment and 12 strokes of the cane. On appeal to the High Court, the Honourable Justice Vincent Hoong agreed with the Defence’s submissions and reduced the sentence to 8 years’ imprisonment and 12 strokes of the cane.
  • Assisted in a highly contentious custody application and appeal. The Defendant-Wife was awarded shared care and control.
  • Assisted in the successful recovery of SGD 30,000 following a banking-related phishing scam.
