What is the process for legalising documents for use overseas?
Notarisation: A Notary Public certifies the document.
Authentication: The notarised document is authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL).
Legalisation: The authenticated document is then legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and, if required, by the relevant foreign embassy.
