Navin Kumar is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice at I.R.B Law LLP.
Navin graduated from the University of Manchester (UK) with Second (Upper) Class Honours and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2021.
Navin has close to five years of litigation (civil and commercial) and alternative dispute resolution experience ranging from cases in the State Courts to the Court of Appeal.
Navin’s practice is largely focused on disputes involving commercial fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, misrepresentation, conspiracy claims, contract and employment. Notably prior to joining I.R.B Law LLP, Navin was part of the team in a boutique law firm that represented a Claimant against his former employer in an action for breaches of contract and claims based on conspiracy where the High Court confirmed the existence of the implied term of mutual trust and confidence which clarified the pre-existing state of law in relation to this implied term. In the course of his professional career, Navin has acted for small and medium sized enterprises, high net worth individuals, banks, multinational corporations and regulated financial institutions.
